With a background in creative writing from Vancouver Film School, Jordana approaches songwriting as storytelling — allowing lyrics and vocals to unfold with intimacy and intention. Her voice moves fluidly between strength and softness, creating space for reflection, connection, and quiet empowerment.

Her artistic influences span jazz, trip-hop, neo-soul, and cinematic soul, drawing inspiration from artists such as Joni Mitchell, Lauryn Hill, Bee Gees, Portishead, and Massive Attack. In recent years, her work has evolved toward a more organic and grounded expression, embracing stillness, breath, and emotional honesty as central elements of her sound.

Tom Aries is a composer and producer from Western Germany, blending classical piano foundations with electronic and organic sound design. His musical language is shaped by structure and intuition — where precision meets atmosphere.

With experience in film scoring and video game music, Tom brings a cinematic sensibility to Moon and Aries’ sound, crafting immersive environments that support emotion rather than overpower it. His influences range from Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, ABBA, and Portishead to the timeless textures of 1980s electronic music.

As Moon and Aries continues to evolve, Tom’s production has expanded beyond synthesizers to incorporate guitar, saxophone, and tactile acoustic elements — allowing warmth, imperfection, and human presence to play a more central role in the duo’s sonic identity.
